Hi, I'm Katie!

Hi, I’m Katie—a former elementary classroom teacher, math interventionist, and instructional coach, and a mom to three young kids. I love teaching, and Foundations in Learning allows me to keep pursuing my passion for education through personalized tutoring and creative learning resources that help students grow—while still having time to chase after my little ones!

I believe that we are all lifelong learners and that every student can be positioned for success. Inside each child live unique strengths, passions, and the capacity to grow—and it’s my privilege as an educator to help draw those out through both my teaching and the learning resources I create.

At Foundations in Learning, I design tutoring experiences and classroom materials that make learning engaging, fun, and purposefully targeted to meet each learner exactly where they are. My goal is to ignite curiosity, build confidence, and provide the structure and support every student needs to succeed.
